Our emergency kit comes with the following:
Motorcycle sized sealed battery, which you can take on an airplane...
Inverter, to convert the 12 volts to 120 volts to run your cpap machine (humidifier is suggestested, just at the lowest settings)
Upgrade kits are available. Larger batteries mean more life.. A new honda civic battery will last for 2-3 nights
Best upgrade, is to go with a Boat/RV battery, that will usually power your cpap for 3+ nights. We usually deal with interstate batteries, as they have been outstanding, but you can request a different option.
When the power goes out, we all fail... Let's have a back up plan! Even a generator is the best back up plan if you know your power is going to be out for a long time... Your freezer items will spoil....
I'm not here to sell you more than you need. So, if your power goes out and you can comfortablby sleep in your car, choose option one. If you want to be at home and try to sleep, try option 2. If you are a rugged camper, go for it with option 3. It will keep you alive!!!!!
No battery is right for every patient. We will help you determine your needs. By the way, all sealed batteries are ok to use on airlines, that why we use only those................................................(Larger RV/Marine Batteries will not be sealed if they are "interstate brand" However, we can still get sealed RV/Marine batteries.
A great back sytem will pay for it's self after your first power outage.... Think of your self there, no electricityl no cpap...
